The days of my senior year seem to be slowly dwindling by, but then again speeding past. It is not quite yet the end of the first quarter, and I am already feeling that bitter sweet feeling towards graduating. I cannot wait for the next step in life, but I also do not want to miss the teenage years I have lived. I remember the last game of the regular season from my junior year. I cried because my best friend, who I did stats with, would not be here with me this year because she was a senior. She told me to enjoy my senior year as much as I could because it goes by in a flash, but I sort of was just like yeah right. I thought it could not be over fast enough. This month though, we have had senior night for football and volleyball. I had my very last homecoming ever, and this week is the very last game of the regular football season. It sort of makes me sad to think I will not be doing these same activities I have spent my last four years doing. As much as I complain and say I hate high school because of all the drama, the homework and whatever else it is I complain about, I know I will miss it a ton when the new chapter of my life starts.

A Weekend of Fun and Excitement Lead Up to Another Day of School
Today started just like every other Monday does for me. I woke up dreading the thought of school and being up so early after a fun weekend with my friends. The start of my weekend began on a really good note. For the people in my community, watching Friday night football is the thing to do. It is like a must. Our boys went out on the field knowing it could possibly be the very last game on our home field for some of the guys. Not a lot of people believed they could pull off a win against a really good team. We have been beat by this team every game we played against them in seven years. That streak ended this year, though. The boys went out there with their heads high ready to bring home a victory, and that is exactly what they did. It was great because after the guys were in a good mood and pretty happy to hangout after. I spent Saturday working most of the morning and afternoon. It was somewhat dreadful because I really did not want to be there. However, I made the best of it because I really do like all the customers that come into my work. They can be pretty entertaining. When I got off, though, I went to a friend’s party then off to a haunted house, where I screamed more than I have ever screamed before. I spent my Sunday as a lazy day just hanging out with my cousin. We are, also, best friends. So we talked about everything that had happened and the guy situation! Then I fell asleep way before usual just to be woken by my little dog Harley Hoopster bright and early for a day of school.
